Marvin Carey

Marvin Carey, 84 of Perryville died Saturday, February 9, 2013 in Danville. Marvin was the husband of Annetta Hendren Carey.

Born May 18, 1928 in Mercer County, he was a son of the late Obe and Mary Lou Cummins Carey.

Marvin was a member of Perryville Baptist Church and a Licensed Practical Nurse retiring from Harrodsburg Health Care and had previously worked for Kentucky State Hospital.

In addition to his wife Annetta, Marvin is survived by two sons, James Allen (Brenda) Carey of Perryville, Roger Keith (Stella) Carey of Lancaster, and a daughter, Candace (Tom) Coulter of Perryville. Several grandchildren also survive.. Zack Atwood and Katie Coulter are two of his grandchildren who spent a great deal of time with their Grandfather.

Services for Marvin will be 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, February 12, 2013, at Wilder Funeral Home by Rev. John David Lane with burial in the Hillcrest Cemetery.

Visiting hours will be Tuesday, February 12, 2013, 11:00 a.m. until the time of service.

Pallbearers will be Zack Atwood, Kris,and Billy Carey, Jackie Cummins and Tom and Donald Coulter.
